We completed our one year contract at Pecan Park Campground, in San Marcos receiving payment for the Propane class and also our bonus as promised, yippee.
Although our time is up, we are still here working here as Cassandra has doctors appointments to follow up on in October and it’s wiser to stay than move away and then have to return.

Our journey to Long Beach California went smoothly, although the shock of going up a mountain pass of 7.500ft for seemingly endless of miles was unexpected as the map did not show any such gradient.

We have been asked to inform our present employers if we are going to stay on after the beginning of September or are we going to part company.
We are both giving this very serious consideration and at the same time considering alternatives. We have been asked to stay on so we must be highly thought of. However at the same time being in one place for over a year does not fit the RV lifestyle.

You maybe wondering what I do at PPC as we refer it as, after all Pecan Park Campgrounds is a mouthful.
We presently work 6 days and have 7 days off, then work 3 days and have 5 days off. Starting in the New Year we will work 6 days and have 8 days off, then another 6 days work and another 8 days off.
