The 2nd day we were here, are wonderfully helpful neighbors asked if we would like to go with them to mail a package in Beaver, which is a tiny town about 5 miles away.

There has been lots of rain this year in this area and they also wanted to see if the bridge that crosses the White River in Beaver was still under water. As you can see from this photo, it was definitely still under water. It is still under water now and everyone wonders whether or not it will even be usable once the water goes down because it has been under so long now.

Looking the opposite direction from the bridge you can see the roof of a picnic area. That gives a pretty clear idea of just how high the water is. Past the picnic area is an RV park that is also completely underwater.
